Is a unit under Investigation Branch(IB) of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations that deals with matters of economic crimes.

OBJECTIVES
Receive complaints through complaints section or through DCI.

FUNCTION

• Contact the complaints & witnesses Record statements and recover necessary exhibits for prosecution.
• Update the complainant on the progress.
• Arrest the suspects and inform him of his rights do the necessary procedure for arraignment before the Court of law.
• Gather witnesses to testify.
• Un-cooperative witnesses we use necessary force as per the constitution.
• Gather criminal intelligence and disseminate to the necessary office.
